PIPE SOLUTIONS LTD is pleased to announce that they are the new proud sponsors of Harrogate Railway U8’s Junior Football Team. Their initial cash injection has helped purchase new training equipment, and much needed new football strips.

Their Manager and Head Coach is none other than our very own Internal Sales Executive Ray Green, who covers the North West, East Anglia and Essex regions of the UK.  Ray was keen to show his appreciation, “This investment has had a major and positive impact on the running of the U8’s.  For that I would like to thank Pipe Solutions on behalf of everyone involved in the Junior Section - kids, parents, everybody”.

Ray went on to explain, “There are currently 35 children signed on with U8’s team. The funds kindly donated by Pipe Solutions have enabled them to be coached in smaller groups, so that we can cater for all different levels of ability. We have also bought 24 new kits (matching shirts, shorts and socks), to keep us looking the part for the next few seasons.”

Roger Hamilton, Pipe Solutions MD confirmed, “When Ray approached us for funding, we were delighted to be able to help.  As a growing Harrogate company, we felt it was time to put something back into our local community.  We believe that giving boys and girls the opportunity to learn, from a young age, and whilst still enjoying themselves, skills like teamwork, sportsmanship and self-discipline, is a very worthwhile cause.”

The new strip was due to make its debut at Harrogate Railway’s 2nd Round FA Cup clash with Mansfield Town, which was televised on the BBC.  In the end it took its first bow in an away fixture at rivals Ilkley on the 13th January 2008.
