Roger Hamilton, Pipe Solutions’ M.D., was an invited guest of the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Gordon Brown to 10 Downing Street on 22^nd June 2009. The event was a reception for those entrepreneurs currently developing their export business, which brings in overseas investment into the U.K. economy.

 

The function, hosted by the Prime Minister, and the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation & Skills the Rt. Hon. Lord Mandelson, was a thank you to those businesses that were taking the decision to export, especially during a global recession.

 

In his address, Prime Minister Brown acknowledged those companies that are flourishing, and promised to do his utmost to assist and encourage businesses such as Pipe Solutions to succeed. Lord Mandelson’s speech expressed a personal belief that there are some tentative signs of improvement in the economy.

 

The world is changing rapidly, and as global competition intensifies, Pipe Solutions is one of the businesses that the Government believes has the strength and vigour to develop its overseas sales, helping the British and the global economy to emerge from the current downturn.
