The "Award Ceremony Dinner" took place in the Fairfax Hall at Leeds Castle, Maidstone. After dinner guest speaker Guy Browning, a longstanding columnist of The Guardian and former presenter of Small Talk on Radio 4, presented the award to Roger Hamilton, Director and Jonathan Wadsworth, Apprentice. Twenty other representatives of other successful organisations were also presented with the "Investors In People" metal plaque.

Police Federation HQ, Leatherhead
Built over three floors, the new HQ completed in May 2007 consist of offices for the Police Federation, 55 hotel style bedrooms, as well as providing training, conference, catering, gymnasium and leisure facilities. The new HQ marks the Police Federation's ongoing commitment to embracing sustainable principles in design and looking at the future environment.
