Stop Ring - Ferrous Pipes

These split ‘stop’ rings are a heavy duty steel split rings to weld on the pipe to increase the anchoring force capability of various anchor brackets, compared to their clamping force alone. They are manufactured with an inside diameter that is 0.5mm larger than the pipe outer diameter. They must be fillet welded on the opposite face to that of the anchor bracket. As forces on anchor brackets can vary in direction and magnitude, it is normal to install a stop ring before and after the anchor bracket.
